If you don’t know what Stitch Fix is, let me break it down for you. Stitch Fix is a personal styling website that is perfect for those who 1.) love fashion 2.) don’t have a whole lot of time to shop 3.) hate to shop for themselves 4.) love to get mail 5.) love surprises 6.) are open to trying new things…I fall into all of those categories except for #3! Personally, I think this service is perfect for moms who want to stay stylish, but just can’t muster the courage to shop with their kids in tow. At least that’s why it’s been so beneficial to me.
So for a $2o fee, a personal stylist selects 5 items for you going off of the style profile you fill out prior to the fix. Best part though? That $20 goes towards your order if you decide to keep anything! So it’s really like its free as long as you keep one thing, and of my 5 fixes, I’ve always kept at least one thing! Here are my past fixes…sigh, why didn’t I keep the white jacket from fix #1?! Major regret now looking back!
This fix admittedly wasn’t my favorite 😕 but it wasn’t terrible either. Honestly, I take a little of the blame and here’s why, a few of the items were a little too big. From doing my 31 day diet, my weight is back to pre-baby, but my body seems smaller to me. A lot of my clothes from before are too big. I should have warned them.
This fix, I asked for fall clothing, in particular, distressed jeans, some casual tops and a midi dress. I got these Kut From The Kloth girlfriend jeans which I consider more capris (right?!) and not really distressed
They did not deliver on the midi dress…it’s okay, what am I gonna do in a midi dress anyhow? Change diapers? Cook dinner? Clean the house? That’s about all I do these days lol.
They did however deliver pretty good on the casual tops!
My favorite is this elbow patch crew neck by Market & Spruce! I asked for elbow patches and they delivered! Yay! And how cute does it look with my grey ankle biters?!
Next up, this super cute heathered drape front cardigan…I have this pinned to my Pinterest board!
This next sweater is okay…I pinned one like it in different colors, however I have a maternity shirt that is navy and green striped so this reminds me of that, and I don’t want to be reminded of maternity!
If people get fixed under you, you get $25 towards your next fix so order up then share with your friends so you can earn free money too!
Oh one other Stitch Fix perk, if you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off your purchase! I’ve done it before and it’s a great savings, but it’s just not happening this time around. Maybe next time! I will be using the postage paid bag to ship back the jeans, grey zip sweater and the striped sweater. Until next Fix…!
