Just before the birth of Greta, our camera broke, right along with my heart. I LOVED my Canon 60D camera that Patrick had purchased for my 26th Birthday. It was an amazing camera! Sadly, it’s no longer being sold, and would cost us $600 to fix ($600!!! It only cost a little more than that 3 years ago!!! Canon is cray cray!) so we had to move on.
Patrick surprised me with the Canon 70D before Greta was born as an early 29th Birthday gift. In addition he purchased a new lens (50mm f/1.8) that he felt would capture great portraits. In an attempt to save money (since we just spent it all on a new camera and lens!) he asked if we could shoot our own newborn photos, and I agreed. We actually had a really good time working together! I did the shooting and he did the lighting…we made a good team! They are by no means perfect, but for first time photographers, I think we did alright! Check em out below 🙂
